PaePae Waʻa

Found mostly along the rocky cliff shorelines of Puna, Hamakua, and  Kona of Hawaiʻi Island and Hana on Maui,

these ingenious wooden ladders allowed canoes to be landed in places, that otherwise, would have been impossible to land a canoe.
